Environmental Statement

The Gage Corporation International is dedicated to continual environmental improvement. Gage, through its primary manufacturer, initially established a Cooperative Environmental Agreement in 2002 with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources; this agreement has been extended through 2012 and is currently undergoing the Green Tier application process. Additionally, our primary manufacturing facility has earned ISO 14001 certification.

As a member of the US Green Building Council (USGBC) Gage promotes conservation, recycling and efficient use of energy. The majority of our metal products contain a significant amount of recycled material creating an end product that is both recycled and recyclable. Gage is committed to a greener planet and has been since 1988.

Recycled Content

Gage Architectural Products are manufactured utilizing various raw materials which contain varying amounts of pre-consumer recycled material. Listed below are our products with their typical recycled content.

Gage Ceilings

The aluminum used to manufacture Gage Ceilings panels has at least 50% pre-consumer recycled content.


The MDF backer has a 100% pre-consumer recycled content. The aluminum backer has a minimum of 50% pre-consumer recycled content.

Various metal powders are used in the manufacture of GageCast. Copper based powders (Bronze, Copper, Brass, and Nickel Silver) have at least 65% pre-consumer recycled content. Aluminum has at least 60% pre-consumer recycled content. Zinc, Tin, Stainless Steel, and Dark Stainless Steel all have a minimum of 50% pre-consumer recycled content.


Aluminum, Stainless Steel, Bronze, and Brass have at least 50% pre-consumer recycled content.


Recycled content will vary depending on metal used, but all metals will have at least 40% pre-consumer recycled content.

Gage Planium Steel Floor Systems

Pre-consumer recycled content is a minimum of 40% dependent upon pattern.


The aluminum used to craft GageCarve contains at least 50% pre-consumer recycled content.
